FNLN (pronounced ‘fineline’) is a label which focuses on connecting the ‘fineline’ between streetwear and pop culture such as anime, manga, sitcoms, asian pop etc.

Understanding street fashion and popular culture involves recognising the distinction between personal style trends and broader societal influences on fashion. Street fashion refers to the individualised, often subcultural, style choices made by people who express their unique identities through clothing. Popular culture, on the other hand, encompasses the prevailing trends and influences that shape mass society's fashion choices at a given time.

In essence, street fashion reflects personal creativity, self-expression, and niche communities, while popular culture embodies the mainstream, widely accepted fashion norms and styles influenced by various media, celebrities, and societal movements. Differentiating between the two involves recognising the origins, motivations, and impact each has on shaping the ever-evolving landscape of fashion.

Our goal is creating merchandise that doesn’t scream “I’m a big fan of ___“, but rather creating pieces of everyday clothing that we can comfortably wear in public and still represent what we love.

We are a small business based in Brisbane, Australia, and all our designs+artwork are originally conceptualised and hand-drawn by us ourselves. We take pride in our work and we hope you enjoy it!
